Laten we het maar niet hebben over de doos van de Stoffenkraam die hier om 8.30 al op de stoep stond. Ahum, het paste gelukkig toch nog in de kast (wat netjes opnieuw alles vouwen al niet kan doen met de ruimte in een kast). Nee, laat ik me richten op de stof die ik gebruikt heb. Deze Elodie maakte ik in opdracht voor een meisje in Duitsland, bij de eerste schooldag worden ze daar geheel in het nieuw gestoken en ik kreeg de vraag of ik een mooie jurk kon maken die bij haar nieuwe schooltas past (ook roze/bruin gestipt).
Le't's not mention the box of brand new fabrics that arrived on my doorstep very early this morning. Lucky for me I was able to stash it all away in my closet (amazing how much space can be created when reorganizing and neatly folding fabrics).
No let's look at the fabric I did use. This Elodie Dress was custom made for a little girl in Germany. On their first day of school they get new schoolbags, clothing and such, a very important day. This dress matches her new schoolbag also featuring brown and pink polka dots.
